ABB Rolling Road Show-Class: Part A: Medium Voltage Drives; Part B: Harmonic Issues 8:30-11:30 am

ABB Rolling Road Show

ABB Rolling Road Show

Topics:, Harmonics, Variable Torque Applications, MV ACS2000 (300-3000HP)

Facilitator: Jeff Saye

Description: Via this session we will discuss the MV 4160V ACS2000 product line as it satisfies applications up to 3000HP while maintaining IEEE519  harmonic guidelines.  We will look at what harmonics are, where they come from and why they are important to mitigate on the power distribution system.  We will also discuss why it is useful to consider variable frequency drives in variable torque applications such as pumps & fans for both control and energy savings.
